PUNCH FUNCTION

Overview

If a punch module is installed, holes can be punched in paper.

  • The number of holes that can be punched and the spacing between the holes varies depending on the installed punch module.
  • Paper sizes that are available for the punch function are B5R to A3 (8-1/2" × 11"R to 11" × 17").
  • You cannot use A3W (12" × 18") size papers, and special media such as transparency film and tab papers.
  • The punch function cannot be used with the saddle stitch or paper folding functions. However, it can be used with them if the paper size used is A3, B4 or 11" × 17" for Z-fold.

Operation

Tap the key under "Punch".

To cancel the punch function:
Tap the key again.
