AUTHORITY GROUP LIST

Authority Group List

This is used to store the settings relevant to user authorities in advance for each group. When you register a user, you can set an authority group for the user by selecting one of these authority groups.

Add or edit an Authority Group

When you tap the [Add] key, the authority group registration screen appears. Up to 20 network folders can be registered.
When a group name is tapped, the registration screen of this group appears and you can edit its settings.
List of settings and factory default settings of template groups
Item Description
Group Name Store a name of group (up to 32 characters).
Select the Group Name to be the Registration Model Select one of the previously stored groups for use as a template for the new group. When selected, the settings of this group are applied.
The factory default groups and their settings are shown below.

Depending on the machine specifications and peripheral devices installed, it may not be possible to use some settings.

Return the Authority Group to factory defaults

To return an authority group to factory defaults, set the checkbox at the left of "No." to . From the "Return to the Defaults" list, select [Return to the Administrator Authority], [Return to the System Administrator Authority], [Return to the User Authority], [Return to the Guest Authority], [Return to the colour prohibited authority] and [Return to the scanner prohibited authority].
Tap the [Execute] key, and the group status is returned to the factory default.
