What personal data do we process?

The aforementioned data processing periods may be extended if such processing is necessary to establish and pursue potential claims or defend against claims, and after that time only to the extent required by law.
What rights do you have in connection with our processing of your personal data?
The Company allows you to exercise the following rights:

In addition, you have the right to obtain information regarding, in particular, the purpose of processing, the categories of data being processed, information about recipients, the planned retention period for your data, and your rights;

Once you have objected, we will no longer be able to process your personal data based on the aforementioned grounds for processing, unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or grounds for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

Is the provision of personal data voluntary?
Providing data in contact forms is voluntary, although necessary to initiate steps toward entering into a contract with the Company or responding to a submitted inquiry.
Do we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area?
Entities belonging to the Sharp Group operate in various countries around the world. Some parts of our internal infrastructure are centralized, including the provision of IT services. We may also transfer personal data to third parties (and their affiliates) that provide the aforementioned services to the Company.
Consequently, your personal data may be transferred outside the jurisdiction in which it is collected and stored. This includes countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. In cases where such a transfer is necessary, we implement appropriate security measures and legal safeguards to ensure the protection of personal data. The Company has implemented appropriate intra-group data transfer agreements, including a legally binding and enforceable commitment to protect all personal data within the Sharp Group.
